THE BIRT

San Juan City Science High School (SJCSHS) is a public junior high school located in San Juan City, Philippines. Its establishment can be traced back to the issuance of Department of Education, Culture, and Sports (DECS) Order No. 69 series of 1993. This order initiated the creation of science high schools across the Philippines, including San Juan City Science High School.

The primary aim of science high school was to offer a more intensive and advanced secondary education program, particularly focusing on subjects such as science, mathematics, and communication arts. By providing specialized education in these areas, the DECS aimed to cater to the needs of academically inclined students who showed a keen interest and aptitude in these fields.
